Overview
FM (frequency modulation) and AM (amplitude modulation) are common audio synthesis techniques—where one waveform modulates another to create complex timbres. Spatial Synthesizer applies the same principle to space, treating spatial frequencies (via 2D/3D Fourier transforms) as the source of modulation. Adjust knobs to control spatial frequency, modulation index, and amplitude, producing dynamic, evolving visual patterns.
